I am trying to play blu-ray discs off my computer, but am having problems because PowerDVD says that my TV is not 'HDCP' compatible - when in 1080p res. I have checked the internet, and apparently my TV is HDCP compatible, it is the;
Samsung LE32A559 P4FXXU
At the moment I am running it off a VGA cable. Could this be the problem? Do I need an adaptor so that I can use an HDMI cable to connect PC to TV?
If so what adaptor would I need?
My Graphics Card is an Nvidia 8800GTS OC 612mb (i think lol) with latest drivers.
Any help would be very much appreciated!

Thanks,

Simon

VGA dont support hdcp

Try using a hdmi adapter to connect to you TV

As this. HDCP must be over a hdmi cable (better quality anyway)

You can get round this though with anydvd which I did for my lcd monitor which had the same error when trying to play hd discs although I use a hdmi cable when connecting it to the tv.

If it is running over an analogue VGA cable it should not be using HDCP anyway. Is the TV the only monitor connected? Also which version of PowerDVD Ultra?
