You just need a blu ray drive, there is plenty of software available.

I've yet to manage to get a bluray to play via the disk on OS X without resorting to paid software.

Yes, you have to pay for it, will cost you about £100 for both software and hardware in the end.

Its the same software i use, with a LG BE08LU20. I think VLC has mac blu ray support in it as well.
