I have just purchased a blu ray drive from my PC (LG CH10LS20)

I have an ASUS PE-VM-HDMI motherbaord this includes the Intel G35 Chipset. I have the latest driver:8.15.10.1930

Installed the trial on AnyDVD and WinDVD2010 yet I get the error message driver not supported.

Is it my graphics card that is the problem?

looking at the wiki page for intel onboard graphics it looks like the GMA X3500 doesnt support blu rays, it doesnt say that it doesnt, but it says "GMA X4500HD is capable of "full 1080p high-definition video playback, including Blu-ray disc movies",[14][21]" so im guessing the 3500 probably doesnt.

edit, just looked up the mobo and the asus website says it supports blu rays.. :S

try download the trial for arcsoft tmt5 and see if it works properly in that, windvd isnt too great from my experience

Thanks for reply, after a bit more research I believe the issue may also be the fact that I am using a DVI connection and not VGA or HDMI. Could this effect it?

Interestingly enough, I managed to back up the disc using DVDFAB 8
It played fine on my PC.

So it must be some kind of protection of the disc that is preventing me playing the blu ray via the drive?

I have tried AnyDVD HD
DVDFab Passkey
and tried the following software to play the disc:
WinDVD trial
PowerDVD trial
VLC
MPC-HC

EDIT: All working now :) AnyDVD HD Trial + MPC-HC = Win :)
