Im looking to getting a couple of blue led fans to attach to my 120 and 140 rad for my project im currently planning, i normally would go for some GT'S but need some fans with colour this time.

These are the fans i am looking at in there 120/140 flavors:

and the Enermax 140 x 140 x 25mm T.B. Apollish Blue LED Case Fan

Does anyone have any experiances with any of these fans, any input would be great.

Thanks

Tony

The Xigmatek are fine!

The Gelid I have no experience with but from what I have heard it is a very quiet and effective fan. One of our Purchasing Team Rjkoneil has the Xigmatek and he thinks they are brilliant for what they are.

At the price point I would suggest the Xigmatek units.

I am about to buy 3x140mm gelid wing uv blue for my second rad so can let you know when i get them. Currently i am using some 120 and 140 yate loon in uv blue, decent quiet fans and very cost effective at around £4-5 a fan. d14sl on the rad d12sl on the case.

Wouldn't bother with the Gelid's tbh. Got a whole lot of them. They're pretty silent but can't push much air through the rads. Went back to standard yate loon fans that came with a swiftech ultima kit as they did a better job. If any1 still wants them I have them up for sale in the MM. :)

They did look pretty cool under UV though.

It's the uv i'm interested in, what rad where you using the gelids on and were they they 120 or 140mm version?

Used them on the thermochill pa, TFC and swiftech rads at different times on my build, they were the 120mm version.

I'm looking to use the gelid wings on my pa 140.3 or sr1 420, they should shift more air than my slow speed (1000rpm) yate looneys.

The Xigmatek are nice and pretty, but my 140s started an uneven humming noise when I undervolted them to 7v with a fan controller for a quieter operation.

They were fine at 12v, but a little loud for my tastes.

I've got the apollishes and i'll have them on the side of the rad you can see. I'm then going to have silent eagles on the other side so it's push/pull
