Blue Iris hacked?

Oooh, not good, the CCTV system? Someone aught to inform the web host so they can block the page to stop people downloading whatever malware is on there.

Looks like a hack to me, little response from the devs other than their server has gone down.

Not sure if that is the full story.

Yeah looks like the site has been hacked and will be redirecting people to a dodgy site to download.

I'd imagine the majority of users who would be visiting the site and reasonably computer savvy and can spot that's clearly off a mile away.

Lot of interesting comments. I suppose when you think about it there are a number of programs that phone home to check their validity, but I’d be cheesed if it downgraded what I thought would be a one time activation license.

Looks like they hosted their website and customer database on the same tin

Seems very amateur hour.

Only got my licence a week ago.

I hate how much software goes this way - only takes a little bit of disruption to cause a huge issue (or the company goes out of business and people end up with expensive useless hardware, etc.).

Wow I was just looking into maybe using this and the site made it sound like they were down for maintenance and only had a direct link to the software.
