So just hooked my new monitor up using dvi-d and now im getting blue flickering pixels its mainly around the dark areas of the picture dont really notice it during gaming as the image is always getting refreshed, anyone experienced this before?? Hoping its not the monitor, monitor is a AOC G2460F 144hz

I once had a similar issue to this with my xl2420tx where red shimmering pixels would become apparent on dark backgrounds. In my case, it turned out that I had very slightly pulled the dual link dvi cable out of the graphics card. Firmly pushing it back in resolved my problem... An obvious fix, but one that eluded me for some time nonetheless.

Tried that ive even screwed in the bolts still getting the same though its mainly at the top left corner

If you have a spare dvi or hdmi cable lying around maybe try and use that just to see if it's a cable problem? I'm just taking a swing in the dark here. If my "check the cable is properly plugged into the monitor/ graphics card" suggestion didn't work then I'm pretty much all out of ideas :P

Sounds like it to me as well, although it would be a shame for you to buy a replacement cable only to find out that it was in fact the monitor or GPU that were faulty all along.

Just remembered ive got a dvi-hdmi cable somewhere perhaps using that could see if its monitor/gpu problem hook the hdmi in the monitor and dvi into gpu see if the problem is still there if not then swap it around dvi in the monitor and hdmi in the gpu and see if the problem is still there that way ive tested the port of each of them.....if that makes sense and could be a possible way of testing.

Are you using the DVI cable that came with the monitor? If you moved from a 60hz monitor there is a good chance your old cable is only single link. If you use that at higher then 60z it will give you a fuzzy looking image.
