Blue Ray & HDD all in one ?

Hi,

My DVD player is getting pretty old now and its about time it was replaced. I would like to go to Blue Ray next to accompany my HD TV. I would also like to get a HDD recorder too.

I've been looking for a combined Blue Ray player and HDD recorder but it seems there are none Does anyone know of a company that produces one ? I really want to keep the number of units under the TV to a minimum.

a PS3 with PlayTV add on is your best bet (with if I were you a much bigger hdd from the start)

Other than that there is a Panasonic BR recorder just released in Europe, unfortunately for the moment it has a hd freeview tuner, but as far as I know not a standard freeview tuner. Not currently available in the UK though (France are just about to start transmitting HD freeview which is why this unit is only in Europe, UK wont start transmission until 2009 I believe with the Granada region)
