Blue screen after upgrade.

Hi guys ive added extra 8gb ram to my pc, so now have 16gb and after 10-15 min gaming im getting blue screen death.
Ive check ram installed proper and done windows mem test and also updated my mobo bios. Any help or advice would be great thanks.

Specs

ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3
original ram 2x4GB veneance 1600Mhz slot 1-3
added 2x4gb Team elite 1600Mhz slot 2-4 ( guy at computershop said this will go with my original ram)
Amd fx8230
Amd R9 270x

I don't think mixing two diff kits is generally reccomended

up your ram voltage and those other voltages I can't remember a little and see if it helps.

Check the timings on both sets of RAM then set it to the highest timings in BIOS, mixing kits is fine but you have to make sure you have the frequency and timings set correctly.

For ease and confidence best to use the same ram.

Try swapping old RAM to slots 2 and 4, new to 1 and 3. Reboot a few times. This'll change RAM in the primary dual channel and can work out well sometimes (if linked).

If that won't do it, then tinker as Reality Bites and Doogles described. Find the voltage both kits require, and set it to the highest needed by either (probably 1.5v but could be a little more). Set to 1600Mhz manually, try 11-11-11-28-2T, test. Tweak down, test.
