Hi everyone,
Last night i was on my computer as usual, playing a game on one screen and watching some videos on the other, then i blue screened, so i restarted and was presented with this:
http://www.imagebam.com/image/bb96d4402824729
I pressed enter and it went black and seemed like it was doing stuff then it presented me with the same screen and message again.
I restarted again and went into the BIOS, had a look at the boot options, and it seemed to not be prioritising my SSD with windows on, although it wasnt an option for the actual 'Boot Priority' value, but was listed on the BBS boot priorities.
So i restarted again and chose a 'Boot from' option on my mobo loading screen, it took me to a list of my hard drives, i chose my SSD and it began loading windows as normal (the Loading Windows screen with the pulsing windows logo in the center)
However it stayed on this screen for at least 10 minutes, so i restarted again as an SSD isnt supposed to take that long.
I was presented with the first screen (the one i linked), restarting again to choose the boot from option, i chose the other hard drive to see what would happen, but instead it went to a black screen with a flashing white underscore in the top left. I tried booting from my SSD one more time but it took me to the same black screen with a flashing white underscore, it remained on this screen for over 15 minutes.
So i admitted defeat and went to bed and watched videos on my phone, wondering why my computer isn't as reliable as my phone.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I'm currently at work and wont be at my home computer till tonight
Computer info:
- Windows 7 64x
- Piledriver 8350
- Kingston genesis x (4x2) i think its that ram anyway
- R9 290
- ASRock 990FX
