If it doesn't do it when you load your normal BIOS settings then it strongly suggests it has something to do with your OC profile settings, n'est pas

it loads windows normally and works perfectly fine with defualt overclocking settings, the OC settings is something that i would hope is not the cause of the issue as it was surpossed to be stress tested at the store. I bought an OC bundle without a copy of windows and installed windows myself.

motherboard is a MSI Z77 MPower with an I5.

What do you mean by "default overclocking settings" can it load when overclocked or not?

If it loads normally with default settings ie not overclocked but doesn't load when you use the OC profile in the BIOS then your problem is right there.

I would hate to think that ocUK didn't stress test it properly but its looking that way (unless it boots with this so called default overclocking settings")

By default i mean basic bios settings not OC.

I do belive that it works oc but when i do load the oc profile and reboot i get this blue screen. i was hoping that the blue screen error points to some sort of fault, and not with the oc profile.

I suppose its possible, go into the BIOS and note down the settings with your standard BIOS configuration. Then make sure everything in the OC profile matches that except the overclocked options of course.

Its possible that it has something to do with the SATA controller or one of the on board peripherals albeit unlikely.

Most likely is that your overclock isn't working properly and that would be my bet if I were a betting man.
