Hi,

My pc crashed and now blue screens on every boot. Typically this is an 0x0000000A error.

My PC is a OC system with:

Rampage IV Black Edition
Intel i7-4820 3.7GHz
16 GB RAM
HD7970 platinum Gfx
Windows 7 Pro 64bit

It will boot to windows in safe mode with networking - this seems to point to a driver issue - I can't see anything in device manager.

I decided to reinstall windows 7 but I am unable to boot from windows CD as it blue screens after loading the initial files.

Any advice is appreciated.

seems like a memory related bsod from whats on the net

try with just one ram stick installed (you could have a faulty stick)

be sure to update to latest mb bios aswell

Try taking RAM out and using one stick at a time.

In the boards manual it should tell you which slot to use if using 1 or 2 sticks.

does it say IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL aswell?

it could be driver issue idk but that code does relate to memory issue, depends whats using the memory in safe/non safe mode maybe?

I would update to latest motherboard bios first, then see if it still does it

if it is gpu it could need a newer bios to better support it? can also try the backup bios position switch on the graphic card

if that fails then I would look at the memory on the pc
