blue screen need help plz

Hello guys,

I've installed windows 7 on my new computer but when I try to do Windows updates it installs around 85% then crashes out with the blue screen,

how do I do a fresh install of windows, as ive tried to do this but it says that it'll still keep old windows files ??

Was you booting from the disc, there should be a option to format the disc and then install.

Have you tried some stability testing like mem test and prime to ensure your not having a component problem.

Yep, I had a similar problem when I first got my pc and it ended up being one of the sticks of RAM. So, as mentioned above, try mem test.

Sorry for being a doofus but coudl you please link me to the correct page as I googles mem test and there was tons of pages, I've got windows 7 if that helps?

Well I've run Memtest pro, it's done 3500% testing without finding any errors yet,

any other idea's??
