I just got a blue screen when opening Team Fortress 2
What does these mean? LOL

I checked hardware and it seems to be installed fine, which I was hinted to do by the blue screen LOL

Thanks

nothing to be worried about then :) sometimes these things just happen. if you keep getting bsods when doing a particular thing like opening a game 4 instance then you know something is wrong.

Also I have another issue, When I open Team fortress 2 and click as it opens it crashes but it's fine if I don't click :S:S

Don't start adjusting anything in your BIOS. Especially not CPU voltages, the last thing you want to do is start playing around with the voltage of your cpu when you're not competent and don't even know if it has any relation to the current issues.

Going into event viewer may well give you some error codes... however, I imagine if you knew how to do this you wouldn't have asked here for help in the first place.

Also, I'm not saying it is something to worry about. However don't brush it under the carpet, you will never get a BSOD for nothing. Something is obviously up, and it needs to be sorted. If you ignore these things, it just gets worse.

Download "bluescreenview" and it really will isolate the problem for you, telling you what caused you to have the BSOD, then you can go about sorting it out. Post the results in here and we will try and help you further. It's free and takes 30 seconds, no installation required either.

Please don't adjust any voltages or an occasional BSOD will be the least of your problems.

Go into device manager and let us know if you have any yellow exclamation marks on anything.

Right click, "computer">"properties" On left hand side of new windows, click device manager.

I have a small yellow triangle with a black exclamation mark, 'Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller'

Right click on it and try and update driver.

Did you buy the pc from a shop, build it yourself?

What's the spec or make/model. How old is it? Did you get all the drivers off the manufacturers website?

spec?
Drivers?

PC build, running a Phenom II Quad Core running at 3.20GHZ (AMD Processor) with a MSI 870A-G54 Motherboard and a Titan Fenrir Evo CPU Cooler which is providing me with a much cooler CPU than a stock cooler would, I have a 500GB hard drive which will be handy for coursework and games but may end up buying 1TB if i get low. 4GB Ram, 530Watt power supply and finally, I got a brand new R5850 Twin Frozr II for £100. (Happy face)
