http://www.memtest.org/#downiso
Go to here and download the binary .7zip file, unzip it and run program with a blank cd in drive and create the boot-able disk. restart PC and keep hitting F11 and select your disk drive it will then run memtest from the disk. seeing has its only day time just let it run for one pass and see if any errors pop up. If they do come back here and lets us know. if they dont you will need to let it run over night.

blue screen of death...

oh k cheers mate, can i burn on laptop as have no burning software on pc ? can use media player on laptop

Sorry my mistake download the top one Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip) and unzip if you using windows 7 select the file and at the top you see burn just run that.

I was thinking about the usb one that creates a boot usb for you.

Yes just leave it running at the top right you see % on how far the pass has done. Do you see any errors in the bottom they show up in RED.
You can use that on any pc you like.

Yep time for new RAM my friend :( I can highly recommend Kingston http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-094-KS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517 Make sure not to run it at the stock voltage.. I run mine at 1.575v

Thats the 8GB if you want to stay with 4GB http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-095-KS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517

so is it one hundred percent the RAM at fault ? think i will go for 8gb of ram this time.

what a waste of money buying that RAM , wish i solved problem earlier and could have returned RAM,i need RAM that will defo work with my mobo, why is this ram at fault ?

any ideas
thanks Dean

I would try running memtest with 1 stick at a time for each stick then alternating them into different motherboard slots first just to rule out a motherboard problem.

Usually a dead motherboard slot is "Works or does not" affair but best you are 100% sure it's memory.

You can still re-turn the RAM to corsair if you wanted to. The RAM I listed is on Asrocks supported list.

Just pop one out run the test, let it do one pass if errors found pop that one out and replace with other one. Hopefully you should have one stick that works fine just to prove your motherboard slots are working fine.

Am not sure if you can return to where you got it from, best to contact them and see.
