using xp and cannot get beyond pswd screen before the machine blue screens and then resets/reboots. last known config does not work along with all the other options in xp. I cannot see the blue screen error details long enough to make out what it says and pause button is too slow an option to use. What is the best way to takle the problem?
check memory as in see if they are seated properly along with other hardware items or simply try for a repair from the xp disk: and failing that go for a reformat? Thanks
