Hi ive just installed a new psu 650 watt and 2 7950 gt sli and nearly every time i turn the pc on the blue screen comes up, it mentions my graphics card drivers, ive update my drivers twice has any1 got an ideal what i should do to solve this?

thanks lyndon

Does the setup work ok with just one card? Try each card on their own to make sure that both cards work and one isn't faulty. If one card fails, then there's your problem. If both cards worko n their own, then it maybe your PSU and nothing to do with the drivers.

Depending on what you have in the rest of your system, 650w might not be enough. Post your full spec up.

How many HDDs, Fans, Optical drives do you have?

Nvidia claim the 7950 gt draws around 85w but that's most likely with the standard cooler. Depending on the other items you have, you may be tipping over.

If you have more than one HDD, try disconnecting all the HDDs apart from the HDD where the OS is loaded. Detach power from the case fans etc.. Basically run as basic as you can with the two cards installed. Power on. If that works, gradually add back each component ubntil it fails. This will prove that the PSU isn't enough.

Of course it could be the PSU is borked..

Are you connecting the supplement molex connector to the mobo. Sli requires this to be connected in addition to the 20/24pin and 4/8pin power connections.. It should be located under or near the PCi slots.

its got 2 hard drives and 2 dvd rw in mate
to be honest i aint that clued up to mess around with the leads. so is it more likely to be the power supply, or do i need it looking at?
