Blue writing for some files on my computer.

Just a quickie, what does it mean when the file name is written in blue instead of black, i thought it was system files for a bit, then i've found it on some pictures and documents too, is it archiving or something?

Any help would be great, thanks

They are compressed files.

Edit:- Go to properties for that file, you will see it is marked for compression.
