Blueooth multi device

I already have a bluetooth dongle fdor a headset that i use while gaming.

If i got another blue tooth device, say keyboard, would i need another dongle?

As bluetooth is one device only right?
Or can it handle multiple devices working simultaneously?

I used to use an mx900 bluetooth mouse, bluetooth apple keyboard and a jabra bt800 headset for voip all at once. Only noticed a slight bit of lag with the mouse when using all 3.
