I've been playing the demo of need for speed shift. Several times it would freeze for a few seconds then unfreeze and I could continue playing. Eventually it would bluescreen. It bluescreened twice, both with the error of BCCode 44. Any idea what that refers to? I recently had a bluescreen in crysis as well (though not in crysis warhead), but it never reoccured in crysis more than twice, and I was able to finish it. So it's my pc at fault rather than these games. I only seem to get bluescreens with games. It could be so many things from the OS, to gfx drivers to the motherboard, to the graphics card or even the onboard realtek sound card. I've absolutely no idea if it's hardware or software related. Memory checked out fine with memtest a while back. These bluescreens sre always accompanied by an aggressive sounding nonstop low, loud buzzing sound in the headphones or speakers. I can't adjust the volume of it with my keyboard volume control while it's in bluescreen. These are screenshots of the errors. I also took a photo of the bluescreen itself on my monitor if that would help? I have ati cat 9.11 drivers. Thanks.
