Hi boyos

Just thought I'd ask around on here to see if anyone else has had or has had any experience with this problem...

So it would seem that whenever i put my system under load by watching anything video orientated (netflix, movie file, or any sort of streaming) my computer freezes most of the time but it has been blue screening too.

Now at first, I thought I may have a virus of some kind. But yesterday I did a full format, partly because i wanted a fresh start too but because of this also.

And guess what, its doing it still!

I'm guessing now that maybe my Graphics card has given up and i need a new one now, Or maybe my hard drive has bad sectors and that needs replacing too ?

Can anyone help me out here please.

Is it only doing it when watching a form of video, not during gaming etc?

First thing I would probably try is using another video driver for your gfx card or older version of flash player, then the on board gfx if the mobo has one. After that try with 1 stick of memory in the PC, if it still does it try it with the other one in, to rule the memory out. (or mem test).

Also have you looked at the temps of the cpu, while this has happened? Might be tipping the cpu over the edge if the cooler is not fitted properly.

Good luck, I'm no expert though, maybe others could shed more light on it.
