Bluescreen restart

Been trying to watch a couple of bluray films tonight and keep getting a bluescreen restart about 30seconds into the film.

error is nvlddmkm.sys

googled, and tried the various reinstall GPU drivers etc And having no luck.

This is a new problem, as it was working last week!

Other thing going is that the Sims 3 with ambition and world tour randomly crashes to desktop with no clue on what is wrong.

weird thing is while the darknight almost restarts straight away, if not in the first 30seconds shoved in Batman Begins and it lasted 1min30seconds before I stopped it.
Confusing, or insite?

i had this problem, i updated the software on power DVD 8 and problem solved imediately.

make sure your drive firmware is up to date, update your player software, failing that, try different player software

Currently trying my old graphics card, see what happens with that!

Had a hard-drive failure so having to reinstall windows again =[

upgrading firmware and installing powerdvd8, since I aquired 9.
Need to wait for the update, then I can try the bluray =/

If it's not this then Iam unsure what to do next. New mobo?

Ok, shoved in old graphics and it lasted around 10mins+ before i stopped it.
New graphics card in lasted abut 2mins this time.

Safe to say a graphics card error?

I will try it again and if this doesn't work then back in with old one and send back the graphics.
