I have a Node 2i with a nas for my 800gb CD library. The nas isn't used for anything else, and it seems a bit of a waste of power to have it on 24/7 when it's only used for a couple of hours a day at most given how much I stream music.
I'd like to use a USB memory stick or M2 in a caddy instead, plugged directly into the back of the Node.
I know they can take smaller memory sticks but I'm wondering if I can use a 1tb memory stick or if a m2 drive in a caddy might be better.
Has anyone tried using a big memory stick or M2 in this way?
