Want a little census of how people use their car kits? Do you have one thats "hard wired" into the car (and thus the stereo speakers) or do you just keep a little earpiece in the glovebox and have to scramble for it when it rings? :)

My bluetooth kit is part of the Headunit itself, and thus has its own separate mic (on the top of the A-pillar) and sound comes from the stereo speakers (and also therefore mutes whatever is playing at the time).

I used to have an earpeice, and since having a hardwired one would NEVER go back to the earpeice.

Yeah, I bought my mother the Parrot 300 or something kit for christmas (just the one with the red/green and wheel rather than a display) - seemed really good for the money (£60) so i'm tempted to invest in one for myself.

i got a nokia ck-1w as its was cheap off ebay (£30ish inc del) loads of people told me it was pants but its brilliant. Don't know what i would without it.

The only problem i have on some phones i have to setup autoanswer as the button disconnects the call.

I have a parrot kit wired into the stereo,i use the phone a lot in the car, for business and personal so its ideal for me.

I used the earpiece for a year and i found it annoying for calls longer than 5-10 mins, but for everynow and then they are fine, but i always found the battery would be dead when i came to use it.

I used to use a Jabra BT200 (still got it somewhere) but I now use my TomTom GO500 with an Extension-Mic on the A-Pillar... Works like a charm!... Very Clear and the volume is speed sensitive!..

Ive got the Parrot with the screen and hard drive for numbers, would never go back to earpiece, you look like a **** too with that thing in your ear!
