I cannot get the drivers and software on my cd to load

I start to install software
When it gets to 65% installed it asks me to plug in the dongle

Then it says new device found but it will not load the bluetooth drivers

Is it possible that windows is trying to load the drivers at the same time

How can I stop this

The software on the cd is the Toshiba bluetooth stack

Could be. Found drivers & software which came with my dongle to be quite rubbish & just used the Windows (SP2) ones instead :)

i found this reply elsewhere

"I've met with exact the same problems and mine are solved!!
No worries, here's the deal, got it from the microsoft site AND IT'S EASY:

It appears that the usb dongle is identified as a bluetooth radio(by win xp SP2), which is of course not correct. There is a workaround. Before starting uninstall the software that came with the dongle first.
Before installing the third party software/hardware/stack again , change bth.inf to bth.bak (Start>execute>%WINDIR%\inf\bth.inf ) .
This way you prevent that Win Plug&Play uses the inf installation file that came with SP2.

AFTER changing the inf file to bak, install the software again (as explained first without the dongle in the pc(I used widcomm also)).

That's it and I am pretty sure that will solve your problems also."

I tried this but it still gets stuck and cannot load drivers

Also still loads bluetooth radio??

The thing is I need to load up the software
But it wonlt load as drivers do not install at 56% mark
