Hi, not sure where to post this.

I have an Acer Aspire 5920 laptop that has Bluetooth. However, I've installed Windows 7 on it and now the button does not work.

Is there any software that I can use for this?

Thanks,
Matt Wilde

You need to install Launch Manager for the buttons, it's under application in their driver section.

Thanks, I've just done this and everything apart from the Bluetooth is working.

If I push the Bluetooth button a message appears saying "Bluetooth Disabled". I cannot enable it.

I have installed the Bluetooth drivers after installing the application yet it still will not work. The .exe file in the root folder says that it cannot find the Bluetooth device. I also tried the .exe in the 32bit folder and that installed correctly but it still doesn't work.

Thanks,
Matt Wilde

have you ever used the bluetooth on the laptop?
i say this because my 8930g has the bluetooth button but my version didn't come with the bluetooth module fitted

Maybe it doesn't. I hadn't used it before and nowhere on it does it mention Bluetooth.

No worries then.

Acer laptops are famous for having all the features of having bluetooth except the bluetooth modules themselves... the lazy tykes! :p

I assumed by the beginning that it had already worked . . . .

My Dell is the same, I wasn't going to pay the extra £40-50 to get bluetooth I probably wouldn't use, so the button and lights are there, but it has no module installed (Goes under a flap next to the battey).

its not that there lazy, its there are lots of different spec`s for the same model number and they use the same case.

if you want the module they can be had for about £10 on eb
or go to poundland and get a micro usb one from there(they work great for the price)
