I'be just bought a Dell X50v off ebay and I want to get a bluetooth gps receiver for it. I found one on ebay for £29.95, are you allowed to post the link to the auction? It looks your typical ebay knock off but if it works them I'm not bothered.

have a search for a SiRF III Bluetooth GPS Reciever on google (its currently £29.95)

I bought one of these a while ago and its great. It uses the SiRFStar III chipset which i think some of the TomTom's use

I use it with my old XDA II and havn't had a problem yet. it's managed to get me home from wales to notts with no problems

there wasnt any proper destructions with it, but was easy enough to set up. just paired it, set my XDA's bluetooth to accept inbound conenctions on a com port, then set the reciever up in Tom Tom nav 5 to use that com port

Cheers, looks just the job. Will have to wait till the PDA arrives to check if it compatible though.

One of the best GPS recivers is the Holox . I bought one last year for use with my phone/pda from ebay . It was oly about £29 and is the 44 channel model .You will get a fix inside your home .Comes with mains charger and usb lead . I bought a solar charger for it too when out and about ,just uses the mini USB port .

Have a Holox BT321 receiver. Works an absolute treat, out and about never fails to pick up a signal.

Think it's about £30-40, have found it very reliable.

I now use a Qstarz receiver. It uses an MTK GPS Module, more sensitive than Sirf 111 and cheap as chips. It picks up strong signals under heavy tree canopy cover so its great for use with memoryMap.
