bluetooth GPS reciever?

is it required to use sat nav on a mobile phone...or is there mobiles that can just work straight from the phone?

could someone please explain to me how it works

there are a couple of phones (quite old and chunky now, more PDA things) that have GPS built in.

9/10 you'll need to invest in a bluetooth dongle

Quite a few new Smartphones are coming with GPS. o2's XDA Orbit is a new phone (more like a pocket PC) which has GPS built in.

Otherwise you could do what i've done and use my existing O2 XDA IQ, copy of TomTom and a Bluetooth GPS reciever:

That a quite had to find phone, can get tomtom on that though will need a Blurtooth gps thingy though.

Think I'm ebaying mine anyway if I can sell it to a mate
