I'm searching for new bluetooth handsfree, but my use case is litle bit specific. Until now was using Plantronics voyager legend and almost all worked, but the battery is dying... I'm writing here in hope that someone hs real experience and can say what works and what not. I will try to describe my requests and also add information about my experience with Voyager.
I'm usually traveling a lot, using minimum 2 mobile phones and 2 notebooks.
1. Ideally I would like to connect both phones and both notebooks (minimum is 1 mobile phone + 1 notebook), with calls handling and notifications (Voyager allowed to connect all of them, but only one phone and one notebook can be active, if notebook bluetooth was used it created problems with the audio quality, for this reason I used the supplied USB adapter that worked perfectly, no sw installation needed, works on 1st attempt in any notebok/PC - great solution for me)
2. Battery life should allow minimum 8h of active call (not standby), ideally charging case that is charging itself during day and in afternoon/night the case charges handsfree
3. The behind ear construction is for my anatomy best option, maybe also the tactical version can be OK, but it lacks bluetooth support
4. Ideally if there is possibility to buy replacement foams, and various sizes foams
5. Possibility of 'tying call' to handsfree - Voyager can not do this, if I enter car with active call the Voyager and Car start to compete for the call leading to audio drops or complete switchover to phone (which can be somewhere in car trunk together with other electronics), this is very unpleasant experience for both sides of the call
I bought Jabra, this is great, perfect audio quality, perfect battery, very comfortable, but it does not like notebooks (audio drops) and also user comfort of handling calls is not as good as Voyager.
Searching on google does not shows any handsfree with own bluetooth adapters and there is limited information on multiple calls handling. Does anyone uses handsfree in this way? What works for you?
