Bluetooth headphones

I've been wanting a new pair of noise cancelling headphones for some time now. My AirPods Pro 2 are great but the battery life isn't great. The AirPods Max are the obvious choice but with a new version likely soon I've been looking at other options.

The Sony WH-1000XM5 are currently on sale for £239 and I'm highly tempted to get a pair but my only problem is whether I can use them on my Mac and AppleTV easily? Or would I need to repair every time I wanted to use a different device? Thoughts?

If you want something that's easy to use between Mac and Apple TV, then the answer is AirPods Max.

The XM5 are really, really good. But to get the best you have to register a Sony account to unlock the features which I think is ******* wrong, and they also feel far cheaper than their predecessors.

Fair point. I'll see if anything happens at the rumoured Jan / Feb event.
