Bluetooth headset on 10.5 (leopard)

Whenever I use a bluetooth headset with my Mac Pro (containing OS X Leopard), I'm able to hear the output correctly. But when I speak through the Mic, I only hear static. When I speak through Skype, the receipients also hear static. I tried re-pairing it, and removing it from the list and then adding it. But all with no avail. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Have you checked the preferences?

I can't get any input to work with my line input. It stopped working with 10.5.1 IIRC. Before patch it worked then restarted and nowt.. I think that Apple changed it so that you need a preamp for line-in.
