Afternoon all,

I am having isues with bluetooth on my Win 11 PC. I tried connecting some bluetooth earbuds this morning but no devices came up. A quick google suggested there was a wider issus with drivers (mobo Tuf Gaming B650M WiFi Plus). I opened Armoury Crate (Mobo software) and updated drivers, including Bluetooth. After the advised system restart i now dont have any bluetooth icon and no option to toggle on/off. In device manager it indicates yellow exclamation advising windows has stopped the device. I have tried the obvious troubleshooting, restarting the device, uninstalling and reinstalling etc. As a final option i did a system roll back to yesterday which removed the drivers but still no bluetooth.

Apart from a complete new Windows install, does anyonehave any ideas?

Thanks

First off, I would permanently uninstall and disable Armoury crate in the BIOS.

On the support page for your motherboard it says: "install according to the wifi/bt chip in your motherboard", but I don't know how you could find that out, maybe with hwinfo, or on the motherboard box?

It is possible that armoury crate tried to install drivers for the wrong device, hence it is now malfunctioning in device manager. From the support page, it is either MediaTek or Realtek and I'd download it directly yourself.

Is Armoury Crate not recomended?

Bit of an upodate, i deleted the driver again but reset the Pc straight away, this has worked in the sense that the bluetooth icon is back and working, but i still can't connect anything (nothing shows up when searching)

This is device manager now.

Any ideas why the PC won't detect any blueooth devices?

Is Armoury Crate not recommended?
It isn't. I would recommend avoiding any bundled motherboard software and always download the drivers yourself manually.

These look like generic drivers, so I'd try downloading it from Asus support page yourself *, but I'm afraid I can't tell you if you need MediaTek or Realtek. I'd try downloading hwinfo if you can't see any indication on the motherboard, or on the box.

Do you have the antenna connected?
