bluetooth keyboard and mouse

See, as I've just returned from the WoW forums, I'm full immature responses, so I'll keep this short in case I burst out with " Learn to play, n00b.", or "QQ". :p

This response depends what you want from your laptop tbh, if you wish to take a USB hub around with your USB mouse, keyboard and usb drive or whatever, ok then.

Personally, I'd rather not limit myself and would prefer a wireless KB/Mouse combo. You're also saving that little bit of extra battery life.

Just my 2p mind…

I think the WMM works in windows, why wouldn't it?

Because it says that only the wired one works in windows? Although i've quite clearly not tested this theory and as pointed out about its probably quite easy to get it to work in windows.

Also : Saving extra battery? Surely you will be saving battery by turning bluetooth and wireless off? You can't turn USB ports off... and while they may not shove out power while you don't have something in, I think unless you're using something that requires lots of power from a USB port (like an external HDD) the power drainage from a mouse would be minimal.

I'm using the wireless mighty mouse - not an issue here, love the 360 scroll and the side pressing into expose.

But that's my personal opinion.
The mose however, is poor for gaming if that's something you're going to do, in terms of First Person Shooting anyway.

Also, it works in Windows XP - from start up till shut down.
Not sure about vista.

Yeah I used one for about three months, none stop, and on occasion still do. I love the squeeze side and I love the 360 scroll ball, infact I would put that on my MX510 if I could. I just found that it's shape and the fact the whole mouse clicked, gave me hand cramps in prolonged usage. Finally as clever as the touch top is, it's just far to inaccurate.

Having said this though, I do, now, mainly use my mac book in clamshell and therefore plug the usb ports on my monitor into my macbook. This gives me the extra USB's I need. When traveling, I do understand your USB problem but do yourself a favour and get different bluetooth mouse!

I'd say don't buy a keyboard unless you have problems using the built-in keyboard as it's just going to look pap.

Ignore this, if you don't mind the extra weight, carrying round the keyboard is a godsend on long typing missions!
