I'm looking for a pair of Bluetooth over-ear closed-back headphones. I have a budget of around £150 but might be able to go above budget if it is really worth it. Battery life is important. This is primarily for watching TV and films.

It's difficult to find decent Bluetooth headphones without noise cancelling. I have also looked for a pair for TV but don't want the pay the premium for a feature I don't need.

I have the Sony WH-H900N and Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless, the Senns were much better for sound and comfort plus the auto-connect/disconnect when the headphones were open/closed was nice. Both have been passed on the kids and I now use Philips Fidelio X2HR wired or through the Shanling UP4 if I wanted wireless.

You should also consider the Sennheiser RS range. We used the RS130 for many years, able to pair many headphones to the same transmitter, we had up to 6 when watching together, comfortable with easy to use button, only downside was the RF interference.

We "upgraded" to the RS160 for the digital connection but the headphones weren't as comfortable, buttons were small and fiddly and you needed to do some frustrating button combo on the transmitter to switch from single headphone to multi, otherwise the transmitter would stay in search mode looking for additional headphones. The max number of headphones was limited to 4 and the later models, ending in 5, reduced the limit to 2.

The kids love the NC on the BT headphones, they are able to watch TV without being disturbed while their Mum is gossiping on the phone a few feet away. This wasn't possible with the RS headphones.
Thank you. I've been watching some YouTube videos, and I'm thinking of getting the Anker soundcore Life Q30 as they seem to be a good middle ground for price and performance.

I was looking at the soundcore Q20, and the only thing stopping me from getting them was that they used Micro USB instead of USB-C.
