Bluetooth radio/speakeres

Guys I know this is perhaps a little basic I'd appreciate some pointers on these. Anyone have suggestions for a DAB radio with build in radio for streaming from phones/tablets?

Doesn't have to be particularly loud, but nice clear quality if possible, budget <£200 and portability is absolutely not something I'm interested in, this is going in the kitchen and staying there.

Hifi, or simply speakers, size isn't important in this case just whatever you'd suggest I look at.

Can you not stream DAB Radio from a phone/tablet? Therefore all you require is a bluetooth speaker with preferably apt-x technology. That should save you a chunk of cash not having to have a radio built in.

I have a teknmotion speaker and it's really good and was about £20 iirc. A lot better than my other wired ball speaker which opened up for more bass or something they were quite popular a few years back.

If you really do want to spend more and have DAB radio built in just buy whatever is popular on the jungle site they have top 10 sellers for every item.

Just a curveball but how about a Sonos Play 1? It has loads of Internet radio stations including all the usual UK ones, but you don't have to have an aerial or worry about poor reception. You can stream from your phone over wifi too.

That's not a curveball but a really great suggestion. Albeit an expensive option if you buy into the Sonos range it does have a lot of advantages if you were to ever think of expanding your home setup.

We don't always have a tablet or phone to hand that can stream tbh which is why simply having the DAB function is rather handy. It's a bonus though rather than an absolute I guess!

Just means wrestling it off our daughter lol

Will have a look at the Sonos Minsta cheers!
