So i want to find out more about getting a bluetooth speaker (mains, not battery).

I just popped into Superfi and was very impressed by the Audio Pro T3 however i was wondering if there was something like that out there where i can buy a few (maybe over time) and have them all connected?

Is that what Sonos does?

That's what Sonos does.

That's what Bluetooth doesn't.

I know because I've been putting off buying Sonos FOREVER waiting for something comparable to come out. In the end I gave up and bought some Sonos.

Bluetooth is really a semi-secure point-to-point connection method. It's not designed for one-to-many connections. There have been a small number of companies looking to deconstruct the way Bluetooth works in order to support multiple connections, but as it stands right now I think it's safer to assume that Bluetooth isn't the answer you're looking for.

Speakers using Wi-Fi is where you should focus your search. Sonos is one solution; though it really does far more than simply allow multiple connections. You can read about some other products here

Quite a few of the Wi-Fi-based speakers support a Bluetooth connection for the source device (phone etc) and then use Wi-Fi for the speaker-to-speakers connections.
