Wanting to be rid of wires in theory might sound like a good idea, but it's not quite that simple, not if you want decent sized stereo speakers.
If you're fed up with wires, then you'd have to consider battery powered; as that's the only way to eliminate wires.
That will likely restrict you to small portable speakers though. Majority are going to be single speaker units, as separate stereo speakers would be less practical to carry around.
Other choice is stereo mains powered Bluetooth speakers. You can't avoid cables though; mains power and the cable that connects between the speakers. All you'd be doing is doing away with one cable that connects the PC to the speakers.
Buying mains Bluetooth speakers would make sense if you wanted to use them with a mobile device, but just for use with a PC so you can be rid of one cable, likely wouldn't be worth the extra cost that Bluetooth adds to speakers.
