Bluetooth stopped working on my new macbook pro

Ive started it up today, and its mysteriously stopped working

attempt to pair my bluetooth mouse and the system preferences tells me no bluetooth hardware was found

ive also lost the bluetooth menu at the top with the battery icons etc..

any suggestions ?

wiredly enough leaving it switched off for half an hour resolved it

not used to this mac thing of things fixing themselves. Far too used to PCs that break just cos its a tuesday
