i'm pretty sure that Mr Jestar has an Intuos (not sure about bluetooth) and i'm pretty sure he's a linux user, so hopefully he'll be able to help!!

have you managed to get your tablet working? i can't find any bluetooth wacom drivers for my tablet (Graphire Bluetooth) and it's imperative that i can get it working before i switch to Linux. are there any resources anyone can offer?

cheers

I have a USB Intuos3 :)

http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/ (but don't be alarmed! all popular package management systems have a ready-to-go package. apt-get does if you are going for Ubuntu.)

Handles the drivers for the tablet. The device will (should) connect as any bluetooth device will, and then the drivers take over. I can't offer much (if any) advice on bluetooth, as I don't have anything that uses it.

It can be finickity - but more often than not, it's simply a case of plug and play.

ah nice one :) i've seen there's a little app for the programmable buttons as well so that should be cool. here's hoping!

I've been content with my keyboard in place of the buttons for now, but the scroller would be nice to use. (Have used it and the buttons on WinXP and they are nice to have.)

I might give that app a go over the weekend.

BTW - I found that if the wacdump could read the tablet, other applications (e.g. GIMP) couldn't and vice versa.

i've seen that a couple of people from the Fedora forums (i've decided against Ubuntu due to lack of support) and people have got the USB one working across the board. think it's going to be one of those things that takes some effort, but will eventually work :o
