Bluetousb dongle for BT headphones?

Any recommendations when your pc doesn't have BT built in?

I'm not too familiar with BT specs. But want something that give both the options:

decent stereo audio + no mic
**** audio + mic.

On my laptops this switch is automatic. But not sure if I need a particular dongle for to achieve this on my desktop?

Na, any old BT USB will work. I tried a couple to get fractionally better range (to the toilet, lols) - ended up back with my vanilla one.

I tried this one:

They were both identical.

If your device is bluetooth 5.0 though (just do a Google on it) then go for the ASUS or the TP link UB500.
