Ive just installed Blur the activision racer. I have a very annoying problem, i cant work out how to setup a control pad. I have 2 saitek pads but theres no where in game to configure a pad. ive tried configuring the pads through windows but that doesnt work. If anyone has played this game and knows what im missing please let me know. Thanks

I think I read somewhere that this game will only work with Xbox360 gamepads. Which is quite stupid but also good in another way for this who've got a 360 pad...

Codemasters Grid was another bugger for this... Although you could force it, anyhow, google search.. Pretty sure its 360 pad or nothing at all with this one.

And, how come you've got the game now? Thought it wasn't out in the UK yet?

i didnt say i stole it did i you tool, i downloaded it from somewhere with a us account, i paid for it. Now shhhhh fool.

haha no mate i wouldnt do that. i got it working. had to use a programme called x360ce emulator. It lets you configure your controller, if anyknow needs to know where to get this email me. I apologize too for calling you a tool lol.

Personally I think it might be a bit to arcadey for my liking and it runs like a dog on PC so I heard.

i didn't like it for this reason tbh, i found split/second a lot better even though this is also arcadey but at least there are 'big things to destroy' in s/s

Game is reasonable no stutter or lag on my old x2 5200 and hd 3850 with settings on medium.

Gameplay is very arcade and is rather fun but not a real racer sim more a have a bash at now and again jobbie.

terrible game, Split Second is far better but then even that isnt half as good as GRID.

yeah true, grid is a hell of a lot better than both. best racing game on pc by miles.
