Hey guys,

Im getting a bit of blur in some of my photos that i take but not in others. What could be the reason? Is it incorrect depth of field? Camera shake? Or just me moving the camera before the picture has been done??

Ill try to get some photos up later of what i want the photo to look like (sucessful ones) and some that come out blurred (unsucessful ones)

Heres some examples,

@ Op

What was the shutter speed?

Had a similar issue with a 50D once, basically the high pass filter that sit's on the sensor was on the edge of tolerance, so sometimes it would focus, and others it would be all over the place.

All AF systems get confused some of the time though, and you can't expect perfect focus on every shot as occasionally you will always get a duff one.

Exposure 0.022 sec (1/45)
Aperture f/5.6
Focal Length 90 mm
ISO Speed 64

Higher.

Due to the camera/hand shake its blurred, higher shutter speed reduces this.

General rule, you don't shoot a lower shutter speed than the focal length your using.

For example, if I'm shooting at 200mm I don't use a shutter speed lower than 1/200 - 1/250 :)

Okay cool that makes sense :)

Thanks
