So I just got a new TV and am trying to use my old TV as a monitor for my PC. It's a Samsung 23" Widescreen (LNT2342HX)
The problem I'm having is some extreme blurring on the display. It's kinda in a 3"-4" band towards the left hand side of the screen and runs from top to bottom. Everything either side of the blurry band is pin-sharp. I've run all the auto adjust stuff in the TV setup with no joy. I'm running at the recommended resolution and have cleartype off.
Could this be because I'm connecting to the TV using VGA? My video card (X1950 Pro) has DVI outputs, so I'm using the little converter to connect the VGA cable to the TV. I assume you can get DVI to HDMI cables? Will this solve the issue?
Thanks!
