Blurry Text - Options?

New Mac Mini & New Monitor

The BENQ M2200HD supports native 1920x1080 but the text can look bloody awful, with white all of it?

Never really noticed until now, and now I can't stand it. Looks like the mouse is affected also?

Any options?

Sure it's not in 1080i rather than p?

I.e. interlaced?

If it's displaying its native res over a digital connection then it must be dodgy OSD settings or internal processing messing it up.

(Presumably you have a standard/default colour profile selected in SysPrefs > displays)

Profile is M2200HD, this is over DVI-D.

Currently running dynamic mode, which is easiest on my eyes.

Though the blurryness still exists!?!

Not sure if this is what your after, but my fonts looked terrible after upgrading to snow leopard, turns out apple had fettled with the font smoothing settings, so it was on maximum all the time, was starting to give me a headache. Found the following web page which details how to fix it.

Cheers Orifice, its helped a little, but also having a read through the manual I've got an understanding how to navigate the OSD and change some things.

So far so good, but its all try and error because I also get headaches too but compared to how it was its better.

I've found text always looks crap on a non Apple screen.
