BMP to JPG convertor

Hey all,

Does anyone know of a free software tool that can convert a folder full of BMP pic files to JPG format, in other words a program that can convert multiple files all at once?

Try irfanview

Yep irfanview is all you'll need for most quick photo edits, and great for quick nasty batch edits too

Oh damn really? I get photos from my phone at a stupidly high resolution, how do I get them all resized to e.g. 1280x1240?

In Irfanview - File menu - Batch Conversion / Rename.

You get to specify the source folder, destination folder, etc.
Tick the box for advanced options and change the resolution etc from there.
