Got my new car last week. Wanted to get the efficiency model due to the rising fuel costs. Went to Sheffield today which was a 140 mile round trip and reset the mpg computer as I left the drive. Achieved 68.9mpg which I am well pleased with. I stuck to the speed limits pretty much (with 10 points I have to anyway) and did about three quarters of the journey on the motorway. It regularly hit 74mpg but with some hills to climb that brought it back down.
