Went for a few drinks with my work colleagues tonight and about 6:30pm there was a huge bang! The sound of a turbo spooling down and the earth shook...

Went to investigate and we found a BMW driver had been racing a Subura Impreza and ended up crashing into the side of The Oaks Hotel and ended up parking on it's side. Thankfully had my Nokia N80 so got some quite good pictures. Don't worry, one of my colleagues from work was the one who rang for the police :)

Yep he fled from the scene but my eagled eye boss got his registration plate :p

To be fair, I don't see why the Impreza driver should be held accountable for the BMW driver losing it. He didn't force the guy to race, nor crash.

They had been reports of them racing by residents around the town but whether the Impreza owner gets done for anything is another question. I didn't have him in any of my photos but I'm sure they'll want to question him regarding what happened.

I see an AC Schnitzer badge, but I don't see any ACS styling parts whatsoever on the car, only standard M bits. Also I don't see what AC Schnitzer has to do with whether this car is an EVO or not, that is determined by age and has nothing to do with a BMW tuning company or am I missing something.

Correct, its determined by age, and being an L reg, its not a 3.2. Its also a schnitzer one, which I don't like any of their "touches", its most likely got the wheels (not shown in the photos), and they suck.

Not sure what point your are trying to argue here.

Ahh ok I reread your previous post, I read OR and not AND first time. ;)

My point is that apart from the badge, this is not a 'Schnitzer one' at all, it's a standard M3 with an ACS badge and maybe wheels.

Luckily nobody was walking past the hotel or they would be dead now, hope he has some serious injuries for racing on public roads, sub human scum.
