BMW E46 wiper blades

Just whatever the discounted cost of the wipers is :D

I have a very good 15 year relationship with my local dealer so they tend to do lots of things FOC.

wouldn't get from a dealer. Wipers are easy to fit and i've done them myself on my E46 too. just order from ebay or another e-seller.
but if you need them pronto then halfords would be your best alternative. you might even get some luck and have an assistant fit them for you if you ask nicely

I get bosch from halfords with a trade card for my e46/36s.

Have bought from a dealer too and it wasn't too expensive. IIRC, mrk was saying you could just buy the rubber bit from somewhere (might have been the dealer) for peanuts.

I just go to the dealer for mine because they fit them for me :D
Wow.

I'll admit, it usually takes me a good 15 minutes to work out how the **** the hooked buggers come off, but then I can do it in seconds.
Until they need changing again, by which time I've forgotten :(

Just buy replacement rubbers from BMW. They cost buttons, £7 or thereabouts. No need to buy the whole wiper unit unless it needs it.

Got the own brand flat wipers from wiperblades.co.uk

work well for the price

£10 for those, works nice and looks nice too, same life as BMW/BOSCH ones but much cheaper.

These style head ones curve around the windscreen at rest as well:

Blast from the past, but relevant :p

Recently it has turned out the Bosch no longer make the "Super Plus Specific SP23/20S", retailers like ECP etc will charge you £50 or more to order some, but when you get them depends on how many requests Bosch get and whether they actually make a batch or whatever - Or they ship in shelved old stock from Europe which seems more likely - By that point how old will the rubber be I wonder...

ANyway, after trying the AeroTwin models and the SP22/20S (non Specific labelled which don't actually fit...) someone recommended the Denso Hybrid on Euro Car Parts. Under £30 for a pair, no 23" for the E46 but 22" works just the same for the driver side, so ordered the 22 and 20.

These look well integrated and as if they could well be a factory fit, which is exactly what I like and reason why I preferred the Super Plus Specific for all these years. The fat middle wedges on all other flat blades just look a bit whack really.

They'd work just as well on any car with hook type wiper arms too tbh.
