Is there anywhere online where I can find a definitive guide for the E85 Z4 (M54B30) service schedule?

Currently looking at one and I've had the owner send me over the service history which is as follows:

24/08/05 - 14,500 Oil Service BMW
06/03/07 - 28,000 Inspection 1 BMW Dealer
06/10/08 - 43,000 Oil Service Kwik Fit
02/09/10 - 54,000 Inspection 2 BMW Dealer
24/04/12 - 71,000 Oil Service (current owner)

I'm new to BMW and the Inspection 1/Inspection 2 stuff, does this look right? Some websites just list 1 oil service in between inspections where as some list 3 - 2 oil services and an oil / safety check?

If it's currently on 80k what would be due next, an inspection 1 at 90k (86k)?

If I remember correctly from my service book, it goes:

Oil Service
Inspection 1
Oil Service
Inspection 2
And so on...

The duration between each service is determined by the usage. The car computer will inform you when you turn the ignition. It must be closely linked to the amount of fuel used.

I'm currently getting high 37mpg average and when I had the Oil Service done, the miles until the next service (Inspection 2) was 13.5k irc.

In addition, there's a clause in the manual that states, if the car does less than a certain amount of miles in a set period, it must be serviced. (6000 miles in 2 years I think)

Therefore, looking at the history of that particular model, I would say the following:

24/08/05 - 14,500 Oil Service BMW Slightly too far until first service
06/03/07 - 28,000 Inspection 1 BMW Dealer Potentially too far since last service
06/10/08 - 43,000 Oil Service Kwik Fit Slightly too far since last service
02/09/10 - 54,000 Inspection 2 BMW Dealer
24/04/12 - 71,000 Oil Service (current owner) Too far since last service

Ignore the first 3 red comments if it's been driven on a motorway at 60mph!

Next service will be an Inspection 1 (£300 or so) and will be due in about 4000 miles dependent on how it has been driven.

There is nothing wrong with those intervals, it's not too far at all. There is no clause in the manual saying it should be serviced at 2 years, what it actually says is you should change the oil, ie outside the normal service schedule.

The service interval is actually about 2300 litres of fuel, ie it's due a service once you have used that amount.

The only area of concern is Kwik Fit. Looks fine otherwise.
