Well I thought it was worth a try...
As a new BMW 320D SPORT owner a few have offered their take on what cars they own and the pro's and con's of each.
What I have found is anal conjecture and flippant statements and thread trashing in certain posts
BASED ON ONE-UPMANSHIP
Rather than solid input.
Get laid springs to mind but I'm unsure this message will follow through..
Why can't I ask a question without me fearing my sanity and how much BHP I have?

To be honest, the motors forum in this place is whacked.
BMW and Mondeos are gods.
Any car that isnt either a Mondeo or a BMW or a Mondeo is doomed to be eaten alive by certain members.
As for the input... if its a shed, or a diesel its doomed.
If its not a BMW or a Mondeo, its doomed.
If its a BMW Mini its an estate agents car.
Shows what this place knows.
I wrote this extremley tired at work, so I appologise if it doesnt make much sense.

It's all in your imaginaton. Nobody has trashed any threads of yours, nobody has said anything about how much BHP you car has except when they told you what you'd get if you remapped it, and nobody has been anything other than helpful for all the questions you've asked about your car.
The only squabbling between BMW owners has been instigated by yourself when you've confusingly gone off on one for absolutely no reason at all. Jez hasn't even posted in any of your threads yet you were making pops at him last night.
Try chilling out - you'll find it works wonders.
Have you noticed it isnt people like merlin, Simon, Dark_Side, etc etc all posting WAAAA WE CANT GET ALONG threads even though none of them have Mondeos, BMW's, etc etc?

See this is the amusing part. People like yourself CONSTANTLY bleat on about this yet you and the other naysayers are the only people who ever bring the 'omg if it isnt a mondeo or a bmw it sucks' thing into this forum. None of the BMW or Mondeo owners criticise something simply becuase it isnt what they drive. It's become one of those utterly pointless urban legends a bit like the Emporers New Clothes, becuase people like you are obsessed with thinking its true, casual observers to the forum who dont read all the posts assume it must be, and we end up in a vicious circle. Infact for ages now I've avoided recommending things like the 5 Series - which, go search my posts, I rarely recommend, just to shut people like yourself up. But you don't notice, and you don't care, because what you say goes, end of.
Even cleanbluesky has a strange obsession with thinking the world revolves around Mondeos and he doesn't even post in Motors
You get all sorts of stuff recommended on this forum. Some people dont like some cars, other like others. Most people get along just fine - Simon and the VTEC squad have no issues whatsoever with most of the people on here despite there being some quite big yet friendly rivalry between them and some of the other owners. Why can't you be man enough to do the same? You've had an enormous chip on your shoulder ever since you ran in and didn't get the reception you wanted when you bought a Mini.
It is - Estate Agencies, like it or not, make up a very high proportion of BMW Mini fleet customers. They are funky, youthful and cool and this is the sort of car an Estate Agent wants to represent their business - people notice livered up Mini's. It's the same reason why a lot of Estate Agents also use Smart Cars - it's good advertising.
If you can't accept this then, well, frankly thats your issue. Infact that comment is yet further proof of the fact you simply sit there and sound off without bothering to make yourself aware of the facts. Over the last few years there are NUMEROUS threads where I extol the virtues of the new Mini, explain how good a car it is, etc etc. But you can't be bothered to read that, can you? It doesn't conform to your stereotype, does it?

I've just read the other thread that you made, the one I assume this one's referring to & I'm confused. Why did you start kicking off all of a sudden? What did Fox do to annoy you, I'm truly baffled
