wow and they couldn't give them away when they came out, they made every dealer take at least 1, the one in Sytners Nottingham sat there for ages
 
I was actually fortunate enough to test drive one of these a few weeks ago while I was looking for a new car and for me this is a real modern classic.

It really does make a fantastic noise and and clearly the M5 engine has a whole lot of go. The press got it right as the handling is a bit soft to say the least.

The car I drove has been imported from Florida and was in excellent condition but had more than $10k work done on it over the last year. Despite all of this the price as mentioned was super high ($114k)for a car that is 12 years old and would need a decent amount of maintenance.

A few days later it was sold to a local chap.

Would I be right in thinking that the ressonthe values have held so well is because of how rubbish they are (relatively for the price at the time) BMW had trouble selling them, so as few were sold, if you want one it's a sellers market?

Aren't these supposed to be total **** 3 stars in evo. They say the m5 is more fun. If a saloon is more fun than a convertible with the same engine then you know something is wrong.

I was only there on Wednesday afternoon, barely managed to see everything.
The pics are basically the lot.

You been going every day? I'm curious as to how fewer people there are on the press day.

Yeah I'm exhibiting today, it was rammed earlier and I could barely move around, press day was pretty much like a ghost town but we sold 1 lagonda as all the rich people are here on press day.
